We also had the good fortune to tour El Tiquileo, the nearby tequila distillery. Third-generation distiller Tony, who led us on the tour, continues to make tequila the old-fashioned way. The rooms are very comfortable and come with all the amenities of a five-star hotel. Excellent pillows and cozy beds. The bathrooms are roomy and have excellent showers. The food at the restaurant is excellent! Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many English-speaking staff. Very attentive staff
